Crack in middle of tank brace

If the center brace is actually structural it will be stiff as a board when the tank is full with very little give. If it is very springy then it isn't structural. For instance the center braces on aqueon's 55 gallon tanks are just for looks.

On a 125 gallon tank, there is no doubt that the center brace is structural IMO

I agree. Though, is it a plastic piece over the actual structural brace? I can't tell how it's constructed.

Took a picture underneath the brace. I just applied epoxy as a temporary solution. I plan on filling it up soon. If the tank explodes at least it's in the basement.
