Resealing the tank isn't an issue , it's water testing it after I will have problems with as the Stand isn't movable

Hello; Sounds like you will have to test fill the tank in place. Perhaps only fill a small amount of water at a time as a leak at the bottom will likely show up quickly. A test fill while you are looking for a leak should mean that you have things in place to deal with removing the water if the fix does in fact leak. During a test fill I do not have fish or other things in a tank so there is only water to have to deal with.
Good luck

Agree with the above.
On any tank that I fix, I always fill slowly, because the first fix doesn't always work.
There are also other things that make a tank appear to be leaking, filter boxes with none seated O rings, spray bars with semi blocked holes. I've torn down tanks only to find it wasn't the tank at all.

I just wouldn't be happy doing a test fill indoors. There are just too many things nearby that could get damaged if we have any serious problems.

I've decided to wait and save to build a base outdoors I can test on, the polystyrene needs replacing and I wanna test the level and squareness of the stand to ensure there is nothing causing the Seal to give.

This is how the tank stood prior to the leak, you can see why I am not able to move the stand without hell of a lot of work.

The stand was square and level when seated but it's possible it's settled slightly off so I'm gonna double check everything and repair or replace some timbers the have swelled with the leak
