The thing of all of this is,it's is probably the shipper who damaged it.Trying to get something out of Fosters and Smith, is not only deceitful,it's despicable.If you don't inspect items upon delivery,then find out it is broken 6 months later,your s**t out of luck. And whose to say it didn't somehow get damaged sitting in your home for 6 months? Bite the bullet and buy a new filter,or buy replacement parts yourself.
