Cracked pane is it worth?

I dont have any glass laying around or else id try to sandwhich it but I dont so im buying it from somewhere regardless. And it would be two large pieces im already paying for nearly an entire piece so that sounds like the right idea. IDK maybe i need jsut enough to cover the crack Ill see what others say.

i have repaired two tanks (100, 135) by putting a pane of glass inside the tank covering the cracks. the 100 was full length and worked great, the 135 was not a full length piece and i ended up running a wire over the center of the tank and attached to the stand front and back (angle iron) to keep it from bowing it did not have a center panel across the top in the middle.

If you patch the back you can glue on a eurobrace to reinforce it.
