Honestly I’m making this thread out of complete boredom but recently I found a snake while fishing and named him Craig, Craig the Snake. And this is a thread devoted to Craig the Snake. Today I managed to get a picture of Craig but it’s a very bad picture sorry View attachment 1461624
Found out that Craig just so happens to be a water moccasin. I was less then 12 inches from its mouth earlier today. You think I can get any closer ??

Being in California, and hiking alot, you would expect to see snakes, but I don’t see them too often, I usually just hear the rattle snake, or just see one quickly going into a hole.

The sole water snake I’ve seen was actually a gopher snake. He was about 2 feet long, and actually underwater. I’m not sure what he expected to happen to him. It’s not like he’s going to turn into aquamanan. Its cool watching him slither (swim…idk) away in the water.
