I bought my 55 gallon w/ cover & stand and tons of accessories on Craigslist for $60. It was filthy though. That guy shouldn't have been allowed to own fish!

I love filthy tanks; they are usually the good deals. When a seller doesn't clean the tank before selling it, that means random idiots won't bother with it. Then when the seller is irritated with dealing with people, they will usually sell pretty cheap just to get rid of the tank. It doesn't really take that much to clean up a tank.

Well now i'm feeling used.... I bought an "All-Glass" 90 off a CL add in Charlotte for 4 bills... only a year old...lights...filters...rocks... substrate... heater & stand....To me a great deal when compared to new !!! Just remember you can only find the "Holy Grail" once.

^That's not bad, really. Depending on how nice the accessories were anyway. I was disappointed looking at CL in my (Daytona) area but I just scanned Orlando, much better. I may get my next tank off of CL after all (if this fiberglass thing falls through...wife is doing her best to kill my buzz re: a 720g tank).
