Disgusting, he must have bought it that size, since I can't imagine it growing that large in that size of a tank.
see the aspca should be able to take that fish, i know its just a fish but good lord give it to someone who knows what to do with it or at least send the guy a link to the website so he can learn GOD!
wow some people, even if you don't know anything about fish you would think common sense would say that fish is way to big for that tank
Now that everyone has freaked out, I would just like to point out that we don't really know the circumstances behind this. I highly doubt the fish has been in there for long, since it looks to be in pretty good condition.
I would put my money on the guy sticking it in there to keep cheap tanks.
Or he may have taken it out of a worse situation, and trying to do the best he can,
Or even his large tank may have broken, and that was all he has.
Though a 50g tank is not going to be enough for the ARTC, it would not surprise me that the guy was just bored and wanted to see what kind of squabbles he could start on CL

^ after thinking it over i think that's what he's doing honestly, still though it's really shady. when he emailed me back after i had told him to build a tank he said that his spending limit was $200. i also gave him the link to this site so idk if he's on here or not.
