Well I think I will wait for something better. I did find someone whi is selling a 150 for 75(tank and stand). but he hasn't got back to me. The price for this is too typical like I would spend at the petstore it seems so i will wait.

Like previously stated, you just have to hunt for the good deals. Where I am at, the farther south of Seattle you look, the cheaper prices get. Sometimes I look on CL and it seems like people think their tanks are gold lined or some ****. I've seen 55G with stand priced at $500. 
I spent $550 for a 180 gallon tank. It came with maple stand and canopy (canopy needs a little TLC), a Fluval FX5, lighting (which was garbage and not used) and black gravel. Glass does have a few noticeable scratches that i can live with.
Not sure if I got the best deal but I think I paid a fair price.

I just bought a 200 Gal with new stand and canopy top, three filters, 2 heaters, Protien skimmer and about 1000$ worth of decorations for 100$ and im not kidding.. Tank and everything in PRESTINE condition, I thought it was a scam for sure considering thats over 2000$ setup (only a year old) but when i pulled up to the house ( a monster 6bedroom 5 1/2 bathroom) I had to ask the guy why is he virtually giving it away and he replied, "Hell Ive got too much money to spend in a lifetime and I'm sick of maintaining it, all you have to do is drain it and take it, no gimmics" I almost fainted and have it in its cycling process at my house now, will post pics soon when its done!
A 125 is worth 125-150 and if the stand is nice 50 isn't bad at all. If it's some thrown together heap of wood crap I'd go 175.

Yeah, $1 per gallon pertains to USED glass, not new aquariums. That's why it's stupid to buy new
