crap on my aros eye

cloudy eye?
my aros bad eye is covered in white stuff :irked:
i use prime and salt and thats it,dont really like meds
but i just wanted your opinions on what you would do
he is eating and swimming fine
can they die from this?
ive waited a few days before posting to see if it gets better but its not

Check the ammonia. How often do you change water? May consider using Maracyn Plus with the recommended dosage on the first time; do 25% w/c 2 days later, and ad more Maracyn at 1/2 recommended dosage. If his eyes doesn't get better 2 days after the 2nd time, repeat the 25% w/c and add Maracyn at 1/2 recommended dosage. If you have an UV hooked up with the filtration, make sure turn it off before adding any medicine to your tank, and do at least one 30% w/c without adding any medicine, or treat your tank with active carbon for 2-3 days before you turn your UV back on. Nice silver, but he also has slight PLJ... You may need some sand paper, or filer, too :grinno:
 
any idea what happened??? if its injury related it should be fine unless it gets infected-and be careful can easily get infected if it is a bacterial infection the only thing i could suggest is medicating it. good luck

Do w/c weekly if you can. PLJ - protrude lower jaw or over bite :) Eye problem like that is from either ammonia burn, chlorine burn, or some sort of chemical burn
