Do w/c weekly if you can. PLJ - protrude lower jaw or over bite :) Eye problem like that is from either ammonia burn, chlorine burn, or some sort of chemical burn
its lightly stocked and i do light feedings thats why i dont do every week
and plj is just a sign he is a male :D
and the eye thing happened after last w/c
and i use a bit more prime then they say to so im unsure what its from
:irked:

that happened to my Silver Arowana one time when i had to do a usual water change and its a 50% and like i usually have some chlorine and chloramine remover liquid thing you buy at most LFS...and well yea...only that time i did the water change without the chlorine remover...it gets that cloudy eye but it goes away like within a few days. It possibly just chlorine burn if you didn't add anything of the sort of those chlorine removing thing...i add salt, stress coat and stress zyme...

The pix is unclear.... the way I see it it simply could be an injury due to a headbang against something...but, as said, the pix is unclear...

Since you said it happend after last w/c, most likely chlorine burn.

Instead of do large w/c at long duration, do 25%-30% w/c weekly. Don't do large w/c, unless you de-chlorine your water before you add it to the tank. If you add w/c direct to your tank, there is a great chance your fish gets cloudy eyes and gill curl

My silver aro once had the same problem. It happened after I moved the aro to a bigger tank. I'm guessing the cause for my aro was due to the water parameters of the new tank. The foggy eyes eventually went away within a week though.

this only happened once so no worries about the gill curl and other things...;) thats the only w/c i did that was alot....reason for that was we had ick in the tank and parasites moving around the tank walls...and water was just pitch white cloudy to a tingy brown...i needed to get it cleared out as soon as i could for the health of my fishes
