Blowing up the pic will not make the fish look bigger :)
No pics of the 18", but it's not a record. Went back there this weekend, and caught so many fish in another hole that we never made it to that one, plus I had been rowing for like 8 hrs straight, didn't feel like rowing another couple miles.
I almost never take a camera fishing. It jinxes me.

Caught one the other day..using minnow.

What you used as bait?

i dont know how to resize.
can a mod do it for me?

i went out today and fished for about 30 min and hit one on almost every cast with a couple sunfish and a channel cat thrown in. kept a dozen to eat. never seen them hit like that.

Went Crappie fishing last weekend at Mark Twain Lake, MO. Water was like chocolate milk (stained bad). I saw about 100 boats out there and no one caught a single Crappie. I will be out there again next weekend.

I usually use a little tube jig, or a crappie jig. White, white and pink, and white and purple seem to be the best colors for the tannin stained waters I usually fish. On saturday, I trounced my girlfreind and her son with crappie pretty bad. My GF caught one, her son 4 or 5, I got about thirty. The secret is finding brush, fallen trees, submerged structure. Then just fish the heck out of it. Once you find where they are holding, there will usually be more in the same spot.

I'll stop at bass Pro and get some white, white/pink tubes. Hopefully, that will help. No one was catching fish. We have had a ton of rain and debris on teh lake was bad. I'll take some pictures of trees floating on the lake.

Bought the new tubes and bought berkley's Crappie bites. saw it and thought I would try it. Probably gets more desperate fisherman to bite more than crappie. :-)
