Hi all

Got my hands on a beaten up old 12x12x12 cube, decided to add some plants etc that I had lying around; thought I'd share pics below.

Anyone else run cube aquariums? I like when they have even sides, seeing a lot of square tanks with more height than length and width, makes things look squeezed.

Ever since i first saw amano do square tanks setup side by side all beautifully aquascaped i loved the idea...

What you have done with your tanks so far is an excellent example of what can be achieved even at home for those with the space and dont necessarily want a traditional large tank setup for display purposes...

Looks good. Being where you are I doubt it's even a possibility but a pair of Pygmy sunfish in there would be cool.

Great stuff, i would love a cube tank and scape it like you do. Definitely the best tanks for apartment living!

I wish I could do a real aquascape, with professional tools lol; but until that time, I'll be cutting corners haha :P

I've got a tank coming, 60x10x8 inches optiwhite, same dimensions as the ads 120f but at a fraction of the price (and quality). Last tank for a while! Gonna need your help scaping it!

you really do get bang for your buck space wise, to me a 12 square cube looks pretty big
Its much bigger than my tank, oh only 7litres more.

I dont know where i can find or afford one, but im looking to set up a tank for a cichlid pair, not a small scape right now. Something like kribs
