crawdad doing damage

I plan on using crawdads as a food source for my red devil. I was wondering would they do damage to my fish which is around 6 inchs

How big is the crayfish is the question. And it will not turn your yellow RD red.

Physical damage? If you buy them as feeders you always run the risk of introducing disese or the like into your tank. Crawdads can and will eat smaller fish. If you throw a large crayfish in with a 3-4" fish it could eat it. If you are worried use krill until he/she gets larger.

Don't risk it, stick to lunch meat!
