Mine did, but he was trying to eat the lil' plant growths (off shoots of other live plants in the tank) that were growing on the fake plant's leaves.... he used to carry the fake ones around with him and then randomly munch on the leaves. He is a weirdo.
All he would touch is the vals that I had in my tank. Ate a lot of the smaller leafs. Didnt touch my swords or anubias's so I moved him out of the 125g and put him in a 55 that just had swords.
