All crayfish will eat their young if you don’t separate them or give them enough hiding places. I saw this YouTube video where a guy had tons of hiding spots and floating hairgrass to protect the young so the adults mainly stayed in the hiding spots and the young stayed in the grass if that helps/makes sense.
