Crayfish HELP!!!

Does anyone know how long a crayfish can live out of water?????? Over the weekend my crayfish decided to go on an adventure and climbed out of the tank. I know they will climb out and I thought I had the back covered well enough.....guess not.

Eh...not too long man sorry. Their gills need to remain wet/moist for them to be able to breath correctly.

I just got one (named it Edward after Edward scissor hands) and he decided it would be funny to cut down all my live plants in the tank!
