Crayfish HELP!!!

hey man this happened to me i had like a 7 inch crayfish escape, i found him 4 or 5 days later down a level in my laundry room...he survived just fine..i have also had this happen 2 other times with different crayfish that we out of the water a couple of hours and they were found as well and in good condition....look everywhere..do you have a cat or dog? hah they might have gotten to it...good luck
I was looking around on google a little bit and I read that (obviously) crayfish will be looking for water once they've been out a while and their gills start drying up. I kind of came up with this idea on my own so it might be stupid but you could try filling a cookie sheet that has a real small edge up with water then putting it on the floor near your tank. Maybe he'll come out to water and you can have a shot at catching him.
