Cherax Quads or Redclaw do Not live in Every river,lake,stream and pond in the US.
As a matter of fact I have studies from Dr. Michael Masser that do Not show any ferral populations of Redclaw in the US. There may have been at one time or another but even the most current USGS maps show No ferral populations in the US.
These crays are quite different from NA crays. One reason is that they are from the southern hemesphere.
but their growth rates, taste and color and behaviour are quite different.
