I put 3 red crawfish im 100G tank with 10Pbass.The Pbasses are too small to eat it but when I starved my Pbass for a day to regain aggressiveness (and to amuse me), they picked on the craw and snipped all its legs off before finishing it off!

I have seen a 6" african eat 2 of my friends so I would say it is not a good idea.

How big were your friends?

off topic question to what everyone is talking about but do crayfish need land to go on? I know it sounds kind of newbish but in your pic, hes out of water in one pic and looks fine xD

Nice pics. I have an electric blue that is destroying all of my plants. Since I have moved my his tankmates out...he thinks he is king kong.

There are several species that will survive longer on land than others but to answer your question, no they don't need to go on land at all. Quite often your crayfish will escape the tank and you may find them walking into your lounge. When they do this, their gills do dry out in a few hours and if not rehydrated they will die.

Again species dependent, like fish. In general terms a pH up to 8.2 will not cause any issues and is usually a good sign of water hardness, which is what they thrive in. Mostly people keep any crayfish in pH between 7.0 and 7.8.

Yea, good question, how do the two species get along?

Really depends on species, but in most cases it is not a good idea to mix species in the same tank.
