Crayfish regrows claw. Giant leap in one moult.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had a dwarf frog that got its hand bit off by one of the fish and it regenerated a new one. Pretty freaky!

Geez, you guys make it sound like I'm not doing a good job with him. I give him cuttlebone, shrimp pellets and tropical crumbles. And sometimes pieces of massivore, etc. Maybe more vegetables? His water is plenty hard.

I have the Cuttlebone, Primary Diet is Massivore Delight 3x Weekly, Algae Wafer 2x Weekly, Potato / Cucumber / Kale 2x weekly. My Marbles are a DARK DARK Blue color and actively come out of their tubes when I walk to the tank. I can reach in and drop the Massivore right in front of them and they take it and walk away. Same thing with the Algae wafers.

For filter I have 2 Sponges 1 Powered by a Maxijet 1200 other by Air, and a Marineland Bio 20 on a 20L tank. The HOB is filled with Matrix and Purigen in Pantyhose. The whole tank has a factory screen lid like you would use for reptiles that I cut very specific holes into for the hob and air lines.

Tank mates include 3 Cardinal Tetras, and a Glowfish. It was 4 Cardinal Tetras but my Maxijet 1200 decided to have a Tetra for a snack.

I had a cheap feeder cray once...great addition to a fish tank and I loved the way it crawled everywhere. If only it didn't like going nom nom nom on my fishies :(
