We feed them crushed flake food every single night and about a week ago, everyother night we cut up some earth worms for them. They go crazy over it. There already fighting eachother over the food. lol.
tell me about it. We took 2 home and one was full of eggs and mysteriously a week later the other one was full of eggs, how that happened who knows but its really cool.
If the crays were kept with more crays at the pet store it is very possible that your second cray mated at the store but didn't feel comfortable enough in the environment the produce the eggs. Crays are capable of holding sperm for months at a time. They will hold the sperm until conditions are right to produce the eggs.
O also the marmor krebs is not the cray you have and is the only cray that can produce viable eggs without a mate. (I currently have one left that is now in berry from a former guess of about 500 of them)

no problem, i have got alot of help on fish care here since i have started keeping more kinds of fish, i used to keep crays for a long time and it is good to use some of the info i learned to help
I went into a LFS and was watching the cray fish. 2 of them where in the mist of having cray intemacy (tails and legs intertwined) and after that one of them went to the other side and did the same with another cray.
So i picked all 3 up. Might be 2 females and a Male.
