Crayfish tank mates?

Hey guys I have a 10 gallon with neon tetras and guppies. I really would like a crawfish to keep my tank clean and for entertainment. I want wondering if he would be fine in my tank and will not eat my fish. I dont not want to risk losing another tetra to another fish(stupid betta) so please help.

my crayfish wiped out 6 neons, 6 bloodfin, and 6 glowlight tetras in one week.

oh yeah 4 albino corys, but he didnt leave any evidence. cleaned the tank for sure

With crayfish, one has to always be concerned with them eating small fish or larger fish eating them. I have mine in a 55 gal. with several 5-7 inch tinfoil barbs and it works out well. I also have a 5 inch senegal and a couple of chinese algae eaters.

Try a dwarf species. Like Cajun dwarf crays or those orange dwarf crays. Could put a few in a 10 gallon and they are fish safe.

i have a cray in a ten gal where i bread feeders for another fish. I feed him pretty good and he does not show much aggression towards any guppies or the few minnoes in there.He might just be lazy tho I have heard and been told they will take out anything they can
