today im getting 3 crayfish and i want to know what temperature do the water need to be.
i dont want this to happen again
i once had 2 crayfish and we went to a party late and we came home to find that both of them had eggs and were dead

Both laid eggs and died? They probably killed eachother is my guess.... They get reallll agressive at times. When i caught mine i put them in a cycled room temp tank for 3 weeks. Probably 60-65 degress. Unacclimated they made themselfs at home in my 90gal CA cichlid tank. they went from cold to warm no problems. Mine are at about 79 now. They are so fun to hand feed and the blues in mine are consistly getting brighter. They are beasts too and easily hold their own against bigger fish. Noting messes with them.

I would love to see videos. I have 4 and they are very aggressive, as they get bigger they get more and more aggressive.

Very cook, thanks.

What kind of cray's? I raise Marbled Crays, and I have them in tanks ranging from room temperature (~65) to 82, they do fine in all of them. I do note that the young grow faster under higher temps, and if you don't keep them fed they will prey on the smaller ones. However, generally Marbled Crays aren't aggressive and they don't need male/female to lay eggs...All are female and leg eggs on cycle, fully fertilized. Hence the reason I got them: as quick spawning feeders for my RTC and Aro's!
