Until I saw it yesterday, I didn't know about it! Bought a few bags. :) Then was going to post about it here....but it's already been done! :) Very pretty sand, and it was only like $6 for a 20 lb. bag. The last post about this sand looks like it was towards the end of last year. If you are still using this sand, please post. :D Tell us how it worked out for you. Tia. :D

Thanks for posting on here screaminleeman! :D There were other threads about it too, but yes, you had the last one. :D I'm wondering why you or anyone else here didn't say anything about this crayola sand when many of us noobs' were asking about different types of substrate to use?

Very interesting sand. It seems to be "painted" with an acrylic coloring according to the website. Sounds really good. They even recommend it for fish use. They said the particles are very round and smooth. Might be a good option for rays? To bad it seems to only come in 4 colors. Good price as well but it might be a trick to find it locally and avoid shipping costs.

lol just dont try the crayola bubbles, I don't think they would work as good

The Walmart closest to me only carries the colors blue and green. I like them, but more colors would be nice though. It seems easy to clean because every thing shows on this stuff.:) It's very strange when you rinse it off the first time, it gathers into little groups of air bubbles and sand. I 'squeezed' the floating stuff together, then it sinks. *Makes for very colorful bubbles at first too! I'm sure any kid playing with this stuff in their sandbox making 'mud pies' would have a blast! *Sorry to say that my kids are out of the sandbox age. But they DO like it in their aquariums.:)
