Hey guys! I just wanted to start a thread to see some stories about weird feeders! Personally I have seen 8 inch long walking catfish sold as feeders... What the hell could eat those?

Convicts cichlids. They reproduce like crazy and nobody wants 100 of them lol

Just about any amall or juvenile fishes can be sold as feeders here in Asia.

Small juvenile Datnoids were feeders way back then. Go figure..

Back in the old days, my dad says when he had an arowana, people would use any insect they could find as a feeder. Now, they just use guppies and Goldfish.

Also, I've seen juvie Tilapia and Bullfrogs being sold as feeders as well.

I'm in Singapore at the moment, and so far I've visited a small pet store in a mall and the first thing I saw was a Pleco eating another Pleco.

Not rare to see all that is Singapore's LFS in my experience, even the big fish farms have that happen. I also do the insect thing too, since my house is absolutely INFESTED with roaches. You could literally find every size of cockroach in my house, from tiny nymphs to huge adults. I don't like them, but my fish do lol.

LOL Small world indeed.

I'm residing in Indonesia now though..
I'm from Indonesia, Jakarta specifically. And I'm in Singapore ATM for vacation. Is that a coincidence? lol.

Do you live in the North of Singapore? Because that's where I find most of the bugs lol.
