I changed the gravel in my 55 to black from blue (I know blue gravel is cheesy to many)
Anyway, I put the old gravel in a 5 gallon bucket.
I got lazy and left the gravel in the bucket for a couple weeks before I decided to clean and move the old gravel to somewhere other than our bedroom.
So.....I went outside and used the water hose to rinse the crap off of the gravel.
This is where things got crazy
I notice something moving on the top of the gravel.....it's one of my giant danios that I figured was dead because I hadn't seen him in a couple of weeks!
I don't know how he survived that long...there was virtually no water for him, just what was stuck between the gravel.
Needless to say, he is one tuff fish
