Really...:D
Yep. The best clue, aside from body language, is that they are paying attention to each person in view, no matter how far away or nature of activity. The really good ones actually try to act like they aren't looking around, but those are also often the ones who aren't terribly good at looking like they are shopping. I'm sure I sometimes think people are undercover agents who aren't, but I doubt there have been many that slipped past me who actually were.

I'm suprised because there's not much at HD thats pocket sized and shopliftable and, not too much thats really expensive. $50 drill bit maybe? The old scam was a HD employee would walk product out to the parking lot and an accomplice would return it sans receipt. They put the kaibash on that real quick. So, I wonder what she took?

Lol, I'm going to seem suspicous looking around at everyone to see if I can spot one. Heck, I'll probably look like an undercover doing that haha.

I honestly dont know what she took. The box looked like a cigarette box when the guy took it out of the ladies purse.

The funny part of this whole thing was she trying to deny she stole something and getting dropped :grinno:

Yup, I've worked at home depot for about 5 years, the Loss prevention guys will actually swap stores every so often to even catch employees off guard, but after a few hours you can literally pick out the LP's because its just too easy.

Ill look out for them :D If they are so easy to pick out!

they are, they're the guys that walk around looking and staring at everyone. Also they only carry a few things in their hands all the time. Also observe how they look into an isle before walking down it, its very tactical LOL.
