"Crazy Carnies"

Well, last fall when we had our fall festival, the cranival workers got a wee bit outta hand. They went around stealing car stereos in the night.

But also, they had one of those games where you threw lil ping pong balls in a cup and you got a prize..... well the prize was a rabbit (domestic).....


and kids started winning them and there parents said no about keeping them so they just let them go(now im getting to the story...


well one of my neighbors he is a few years younger than me (im 13) and he had to and had them in a cage.... guess what they were guy and girl..OOPS..... so they started breeding like rabbits (no pun intended)

so he didnt have space for them so he just let them loose... he stilll takes care of them and all... but there are 10 now.... and soon 20....30....40........

so i talked to him and he said i could take 8 of the ten...and this weekend me and two of my friends are setting HUMANE traps and using nets to catch all the rabbits and giving two of the same sex back to him.....

well we will be selling the rabbits to respective people who can take care of them......ive got a good sized place for them all for the time being... and we might keep a guy and girl and get some money so we can take care of our other animals.....( my friend is a reptile guy and right now he has two red headed beardies? line snake, scorpion, albino corn snake and some other things... and e needs a bigger place for his beardies so we might put most of the money towards that)



so wish us luck on getting the rabbits!

any idea on how to make traps.........


and with thhe nets we can get with in 10 feet of most of th rabbits

Good luck. When you catch them were gloves and at least a long sleeve shirt. My grandpa used to breed rabbits for human consumption and when it was time to get them out of the pen they kick like crazy and have really sharp nails that can inflict very deep scratches.
