A true show tank it is NOT Yes a good koi pond or maybe a good ray pond but show pond NO. lets say it was misrepresented shopuld have been listed as above ground pond not show tank
 
i think by show tank they meant to "show" the koi to potential buyer, not as a nice display tank. maybe im wrong
 
Craigslist links soon become inactive, either from flagging or the author deletes them. So when posting them in this thread copy and paste the listing so we can veiw it even if the listing is deleted.

The listing is correct. These pools are called "show tanks".

They are not "above ground ponds" as you call them. They are not ment to be permanent. They are intended for 1-2 day usage at a time.

If you go to a fish auction, fish will be "shown" for the buyer in these setups.

Ask a good aquarium society that holds fish auctions for a "show tank used in fish auctions" and they will know exactly what you are talking about.
