If people stopped splitting their tongues or getting other body mods then the professional body modifiers will be out of jobs. I definitely wouldn't call it a waste.

Haha, good point!

Why would one split their tongue anyway? Can anyone give me a viable reason for doing this? No. I think its funny that someone would split their tongue to look cool when their mouth should be shut to begin with.

The economy is in the crapper, people are hundreds of thousands of dollars under water on their homes, the jobless rate is 10% and people are wasting money on splitting their tongue.

And people blame the govt for whats wrong with this country!?!?!

The way i see it is its better to have trained professionals do it rather than just some random person with a scalpel and quarterizer (sp?) gun doing it at home... which is the way they used to do it before it became "fashionable" to do these things...

For that specific tank you would be, but I have to disagree with with such a general statement for reasons I have already outlined.

Fish Sanctuary has a 2,000 Gallons tank!?! No! Of course not!... because it's more than that! I have just recently setup a
2,614-Gallon "pond" for all large rescues.
Just one month ago my largest tank was 60-Gallons, but ever since I started getting in large rescues I knew that they needed something more. "Every rescue we take in gets a larger home than what they originally had."
I still need to take pictures, so be on the look out for them! They will be posted in the "Blog" on the site ASAP.
Have a rescue? We take in the Monsters and the Community fish. Even the small aggressive ones! Freshwater, Brackish, or Saltwater I've dealt with them all, and guarantee that any rescue brought in will be in great care!
Check out the site for more info.

I would have to agree. I sold my saltwater reef tank for $4,700 and I still lost my ass on it.
