I think we have here a case of an African Aquarist releasing his pet Red Devil into Lake Malawi.. A crew catching African Cichlids for export happened to net it, and shipped it off to the US to be sold. Because it came in with other African Cichlids, the pet shop assumed the fish was also from there, and passed that misinformation on to the customer.

Or, the guy just doesn't know anything about his fish's origins. Maybe at least read a wiki next time.

But hey, for only $15, you could potentially be getting a fish that has lived on 3 continents. It is.. the most interesting fish in the world. He doesn't always drink beer, but when he does, he prefers Dos Equis.

I wrote an ad in craigslist requesting an aquarium heater and a flourescent light bulb for an aquarium. Someone replied to me and tried to sell me a used 300 watt heater and a used 24 inch flourescent bulb for $50.

Actually at those prices you can go to a store and buy it brand new. What a joke.
