55 Gallon Fish Tank - $450 (Boulder)

Hello all,

I am selling my beautiful 55 gal. aquarium. I currently have it set up as a freshwater tank with "wild" angel fish as the central tenants. This tank is a communal tank, but two different pairs of breeders have found one another in the tank (making an biweekly attempt at procreation). I am including the tank, rocks and tank decorations, black metal stand, two (2) carbon/ionic filters, undergravel filtration system, air pump, hoses, nets, heater, low profile "natural" light, various chemicals, fish food, thermometer, magnetic scrubber and various other components with the sale. This setup has cost me well over $1000 to procure, but because I am moving I need to purge the set of things I own. If you are interested let me know and we can set something up.

I am not selling the fish with the tank (as they are prized breeders that have brought me easily over $500 in the past two years through sales to local fish stores), but I would negotiate a price separately from that of the tank setup. I am willing to sell the fish separately from the tank if you do not want the whole setup.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I have 3 aquariums and their inhabitants that need to be rehomed. All of them are freshwater setups. All setups some with all accessories to include filters, pebbles, ornaments, driftwood, heaters, lids (125 and 90 gallon only), and lights (all but 30 gallon has light but is too large for tank). All of the fish can be homed separately or go together as package below are the details and all prices are negotiable.

30 Gallon - Jewel cichlid and green terror setup. Have three Jewels about 3 in and 4 terrors ranging from 3 to 7 in. Also has 3 or 4 Corys swimming around, comes with light that is very long for the tank, gravel, one internal filter, one HOB filter. Have air pump and stone as well as heater and ornaments. Asking $50

90 gallon - Tank was salt water setup converted to freshwater has a hairline crack in the bottom that was repaired and does not leak. This tank is home to over 30 various African cichlids with some oddities as well, German reds, Johannis, Convicts, White, Blotched, electric blue, electric yellow, and even some reef cichlids, there’s also a couple of gourami and a severum too. This setup has two HOB filters and an underwater gravel filter has gravel, lids and lights, live plants and too many ornaments too count. Asking $250

125 gallon this is a massive heavy tank that is also cichlid setup. It has two corner filters three HOBS filters an air wand / pump and is home to many nice cichlids and some oddities. The stand can come with this tank but it’s handmade and the lid is not in the best of shape. It does have three lights on the lid and a handy man could repair the lid no problems. The tank come with all ornaments gravel and all accessories. The fish are as follows; 1 albino Oscar 8 in, 1 red Oscar 11 in, 1 angel fin tiger Oscar 10in, 1 Gorgeous Fire eel 12in, 1 Snook 7 in, 1 Red Devil 8 in, 1 Fire mouth 5 in, 2 Jaguars 6, 8 in, 5 Jack Dempsey’s 3, 4, 4, 5,11in, 2 Blood Parrots 7in, 4in and two Polys (suckers) 12 in, 10 in asking $400 for the setup.

All of the inhabitants can go with the tank or I will separate, feel free to call all prices are subject to negotiation but I will not sell the tanks without the fish being rehomed. My phone number is 910-578-7470 / leaves a message if no answer. The only tank with a stand is the 125 please do not ask for the others.

here is an art form that most modern weight lifters need to rediscover.

add to this the practice of isometrics and you have a top notch success of strength which would explain why the avearge dude could one arm the tank. That and the power of leverage and the fulcrum effect.

Overstocked, but I give the guy credit, the water is clear and not pea soup like I was imagining.
