Red Belly Piranha - $1 (Noblesville)

I have a Juvenile Red Belly Piranha for sale! Asking $20. He is about a 2 years ald. I bought him at The Reef. If interested please email @yahoo.com and if you would like pictures I can email them.

So, I e-mailed about this Piranha, since he is right around the age of my largest Piranha I thought it would be a great way to pick up a nice size P for cheap. So, I ask:
"
What size is he at? What is he's diet, has he ever been with a group, if so how does he act towards them? Do you have a picture?"
And I get this in response:
"
I would say he is 4 inches long and he eats feeder goldfish. He has never been with another fish. In about an hour I will send you a picture. Thanks for looking."
Hmmmmm Somethings not right here... 4" in two years  maybe she keeps him in a bowl like a Betta lol  ... that joke made me sad cause she might really be doing that

So, I decided to give this up but I just couldn't live with myself if I didn't say:
"
But I had a question, You said he 2 years old in your cl post but only 4in? A piranha should grow to 6-7" in the first year alone. BTW goldfish really bad and feeding live feeders is never a good choice... You should really stick to things like shrimp, fish fillets(nothing greasy) and pellets(if he will eat them)"

And she replies:
"
I rescued him from someone that neglected to feed him so I think thats why he was so small"

But wait I thought you bought him from The Reef(I'm guessing that's a live fish store) :screwy::grinno::screwy:
Oh well... That poor fish I hope someone takes better care of him then she did. :banher:

Personally I give this one a thumbs up $125 for a complete set up and a turtle. The stand being made in another country like that means quality carpentry. So this one is not a crazy person in my opinion. If this was for sale here and I had just seen it with this post, it would be sold in he next 5 minutes :naughty:

this is pretty good...tell me what you think ;)

75 gallon aquarium tank for sale (Fairfield) $750

Date: 2010-04-01, 12:34PM EDT
Reply to: comm-j3eb9-1671719564@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Love this tank but in my apartment I don't get to enjoy it as it is in a corner. I put a lot into this and would like to sell the entire thing including the occupants and plants. I want 750 and I have at least 1000 in it, any less and I would rather just keep it. I will send pics to anyone interested. It is a freshwater community tank with 2 dual fixture T5 lights for a total of 4, wooden oak colored stand and trim with cabinet doors on stand, CO2 tank with necessary bubble counter and adapters to pump CO2 into water, chemicals to mix your own fertilizer, a lifesaving siphon that drains and fills water directly to and from the sink (I think it is 50ft and I may have an extension), several bottles of fertilizers, several foods including frozen, have a good layer of black gravel in the tank, black posterboard, 2 powerheads, 1 rena canister filter - XP2 I think (the midgrade model), heater, some nice driftwood and rocks, digital timer with night day sockets, free knowledge and help if you need it, and I am sure some other stuff. I have a lot of money in this and will only consider serious offers, not trying to get everything back but not giving it away either. I also have a digital scale and the measurements of the chemicals to make your own fertilizer.

Fish
2 tiretrack eels (just added for 40$), several different rainbow fish, at least 1 bamboo shrimp still in there, several black and striped kuhli loaches, 3 types of corydora catfish, several SAEs, 2 rainbow sharks, several rummynose tetras, 1 or 2 neon tetras, several rasbora hets, 1 twig catfish, a few silver hatchet fish, and maybe a few others

Plants
Flame moss, moneywort, java fern, wisteria, baby tears, red lily, echinodorus, and a few that I don't know the name of or remember off the top of my head.
