90 gallon unbelievably silent fish tank!





I have decided to sell my 90 gallon fish tank with custom coast to coast overflow. This is an awesome dead silent tank. You can not hear any water drain from this unit. The only thing you hear is the skimmer pumps hum.

I have resealed (not that it needed it) the tank. Actually, I sealed over the old silicone for a double seal, so to speak, with aquarium silicone.

Unit has 3 1 ½ overflow pipes on the back. A primary, secondary and overflow backup.



Here is the condition of the sale:

1) Tank stays running until bought.

2) If you wish to buy, you give me a $100 non-refundable deposit.

3) I get up to 3 days to clear critters and water from tank.

4) I call you and tell you to come get tank.

5) You have 2 days to get tank. With such a time frame, it will most likely fall on a weekend, Saturday morning.

6) Before you touch the tank, you pay balance.

7) You and your friend will move tank at your own peril and risk. I do not claim any damages to the tank when you go to move it.

8) If you do not pick up tank by end of Saturday, I move it outside myself. If anything happens to it outside, I am not responsible for it.

9) If it is not picked up by end of Sunday, I keep your deposit and tank gets relisted to be sold to next person. Sorry, but I have enough stuff around here, I want it gone ASAP.



Tank comes with: 90 gallon tank, Stand, already cut veneer frame and I will throw in the left and right return pipes.

Need a real showpiece of a tank set up? Here’s a twin 65 gallon set up – both tanks rest on a single custom made cabinet that has adjustable shelving storage underneath as well as a power strip on each side with 6 plug ins for filters lights, heaters, etc…). Speaking of these things, the set up also comes with the gravel (fluorite and tex blast for a natural look), Penguin 300 hang on back filters, and some fantastic lighting. Each tank has two 96 watt bulbs – giving each tank a 2.95 watt per gallon lighting so you can grow pretty much any kind of plant that strikes your fancy. The lights were NOT cheap (check out www.ahsupply.com). Additionally, there’s a nice custom fit black canvas fabric on the back of each tank, as well as the sides between the two tanks so the fish in the tanks can’t see each other (removable of course if you don’t want it). I also have digital thermometers that come with the tanks to monitor your tanks correct temperature. NOTE: the strange shape in the tank on the left is a plant stand reflection in the window (you don't see it in the other pictures). Better description of each component:

Fluorite and TexBlast for a natural look (in both tanks). Half and half – each tank has one bag of Flourite and about the same amount of Texblast (not available here as far as I know)
2 Penguin Bio-Wheel 330 filters and cartridges (with extensions for better filtration)

I am looking to re-home my four cichlids: one midas, one purple parrot (who is actually a more light yellow), a jack dempsey, and a jellybean parrot. I am happy to include their 10 gallon aquarium with filter, heater and decorations (there are large rocks inside, with sand on the bottom). I am quite fond of these fish and am only giving them up because I am becoming overwhelmed with the other animals I keep. Experienced fish owners only please. Suggest a price.
