Wow. What a horrible idea. Electronics and water. Who are these people, and why do they refuse to take their medication?

Okay. Fish can live in mineral oil? Ew. I didn't know!

^ They can't, its for appearance only. This is in your quote, *Fish can not live in mineral oil, or in a computer, the aquarium is decorative*

90 gallon dead silent saltwater aquarium fish tank - $390 (FFX)

Date: 2009-07-20, 9:12PM EDT
Reply to: sale-yfubf-1280392342@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

90 gallon unbelievably silent fish tank!

I have decided to sell my 90 gallon fish tank with custom coast to coast overflow. This is an awesome dead silent tank. You can not hear any water drain from this unit. The only thing you hear is the skimmer pumps hum.

I have resealed (not that it needed it) the tank. Actually, I sealed over the old silicone for a double seal, so to speak, with aquarium silicone.

Unit has 3 1 ½ overflow pipes on the back. A primary, secondary and overflow backup.

Here is the condition of the sale:

1) Tank stays running until bought.

2) If you wish to buy, you give me a $100 non-refundable deposit.

3) I get up to 3 days to clear critters and water from tank.

4) I call you and tell you to come get tank.

5) You have 2 days to get tank. With such a time frame, it will most likely fall on a weekend, Saturday morning.

6) Before you touch the tank, you pay balance.

7) You and your friend will move tank at your own peril and risk. I do not claim any damages to the tank when you go to move it.

8) If you do not pick up tank by end of Saturday, I move it outside myself. If anything happens to it outside, I am not responsible for it.

9) If it is not picked up by end of Sunday, I keep your deposit and tank gets relisted to be sold to next person. Sorry, but I have enough stuff around here, I want it gone ASAP.

Tank comes with: 90 gallon tank, Stand, already cut veneer frame and I will throw in the left and right return pipes.

I would also very much snap this tank up. From the picture the guys runs a very clean set up. Don't blame him for setting hoops for the purchaser has probably had some real winners try to screw him previously. And, for the price he is selling it for why should he not ask a person to meet him in the middle and make for a smooth transaction. Any ways if you can't free up a specific time to pick it up then you need not buy it

Sorry. I didn't catch the mineral oil part, only the 'fish tank full of water"! Still not sure what the point is. Oh well!

As for the guy with the crazy regulations, I totally understand. I tried to give away a set of drinking glasses, new in box, and got four no-shows. They were free! It was a total waste of my time. Also, I've tried to sell fish stuff, and I feel like the people just wanted to see my tanks. I'd be selling a filter for $150, and they'd show up, after agreeing to pay, and offer $50. But, they'd want to see all of my tanks and my pond, and talk about tanks for an hour. I should charge them for a tour. Or at least ask for some fish fillets. People on craigslist can seriously waste your time.
