I spent $10,000 so I could keep clownfish and damselfish.

for 10k I want sharks with friggin laser beams.

1,200 would get you a nice sized second hand pool (a family member just bought a 20 some ft pool for that) lasers 1,000$ on ebay and that's way overestimated. This leaves 7,200$ for the sharks....

I have to say, it never ceases to amaze me how much people sometimes think they can get for their 2nd hand products... i mean being a sneaker head, i understand when re-selling online you mark up your prices a little expecting to be lowballed... but to mark a product up that much seems a little too optimistic to me considering who in their right mind would spend that much on a product thats not even worth a 1/2 what they are asking when bought new...

People can put any price on an item, it doesn't mean they're going to get it. If it wasn't for the crazy's, this thread wouldn't be much fun.

The part that annoys me is when they want that much money and can't go through the trouble of posting a picture. Or when they do actually have something you want and they get offended by your offer because you actually know the value of something.

I emailed this person asking them how old the tank was, and what he was looking to get for it.

The tank is 10+ years old (he bought it used from his neighbor a few years back, who also bought it used), and he is looking to get $375 for it. HAHA!

Crazy people.

CL is the main reason why I want to open a fish store. After reading ads on how one person spent this much money on a 50G and may have over 1K invested in it makes the gears in my head turn. You could charge less than any of the petco/mart and still make a killing.........
