Hello, I am selling this 16 month old 120 gallon Marineland fish tank aquarium and stand (designed especially for this tank). I have really enjoyed this freshwater tank, but am moving to an apartment and do not have room for this tank anymore so that’s the only reason I am selling. I have taken really good care of the tank and have always maintained cleaning the tank and everything. The tank is undrilled and does not have any cracks or leaks or anything like that. I have detailed pictures of everything I will be glad to send. Please note this listing is for the tank, light panels, tank hood, stand, gravel, ton of chemicals, and a lot of food only (the decor and filters are sold separately, to reduce the price of the tank and stand). I decided to sell it this way because I had a Pirate theme before with 3 large cool sunken ship pieces (paid $85 for it, will sell for $40), 2 skulls (paid $20, will sell for $10), and 2-underwater volcanoes (paid $75, and will sell both for $30), but not everyone wants it that way. I will sell that all separately for very fair prices, if interested. I used 2-aquaclear 110 filter systems (paid $75 apiece for each, will sell each for $30) and 1-Tetra Whisper EX 70 filter system (paid $60, will sell for $20). All are hang on the back filters. I know most people who would buy this tank will either convert it to a saltwater tank or use a canister filter and won't need my hang on the back filter systems. If interested in the filter systems, I will sell those separately. The tank is 60 inches wide (distance across the front of the tank), 26 inches high (distance from top to bottom of the tank), and 18 inches depth (distance from the front to the back of the tank). Please look at the bottom of my listing to see the volume calculation of my tank. My tank is not as wide as the 72 inch wide 120 gallon tank. My tank height is just taller than the 72 inch wide tank type to equal out to the 120 gallons for both tank types. I just wanted to clarify the two different 120 gallon tank types to avoid any confusion. There are two separate light panels for the tank. Because my tank is the non-standard width, when side by side on the hood, the light panels go over the tank about 3-4 inches. The light bulbs were just replaces about 2 months ago so they will last a long time. The stand is really nice and durable. I bought just the tank at first and put it on a 5 foot long dresser, which then caused my dresser to warp after 2 days so I learned my lesson. The stand supports all that water and the tank so well. Just really well made. The aquarium comes with all the gravel you will need-a dark, blue color. The aquarium does not come with fish as I had goldfish in the tank, but had to tear down the tank to sell it and so the goldfish have another happy home. This comes with a lot of chemicals such as a master ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH testing kit, Melifix, Prime, and Amquel. It also comes with a lot of extra fish food. Again, I have taken detailed pictures of everything so if interested; I will be glad to email all the pictures to you of everything. The $170 price is very fair and firm as I paid over $350 for the tank, stand, gravel, chemicals, and food. I take cash only and it is for pickup only as I do not have a truck. I just think the price is especially fair too after searching other Craigslist listings for the same size aquarium tank and stands. The price was usually higher for an aquarium and/or stand that wasn’t as nice as mine. Keep in mind too that most tanks on Craigslist for sale are used saltwater tanks so the saltwater element really wears the tank down compared to a freshwater tank like mine. You can see visually the huge difference between saltwater and freshwater tanks. My tank has always been freshwater so the tank is in great shape. Also too, a lot of tanks for sale are drilled. I had to tear down the tank before I sold it because the person I am living with did not want prospective buyers coming through the house to look at it. I took a ton of pictures of every angle and everything before I took it down. I have the tank and stand well covered on my carport and everything else all well wrapped up for whoever buys it. I put the gravel in 2-5 gallon buckets and 1 kitchen sized garbage can. If you need to make more than one trip to get everything that is totally fine as I work at home and will be there or I can just leave it on my carport for whenever you wanna pick it up. Please note I cannot hold it for someone for a day or two and prevent anyone else from buying it during this time as everyone who has sold on Craigslist knows that the people you hold it for a couple of days usually ends up cancelling on you and you have then just lost out on other people who were interested and would have bought the product during this time. If someone says they are on their way to look at the tank, then I will hold it for them gladly and would not sell it to someone else if you are on your way to my house. E-mail Mike through Craigslist if you have any questions or anything. I don't want to put my cell number or e-mail on the listing because of the huge amount of annoying spammers who invade Craigslist listings. I will be glad to forward you all the pictures I took of the aquarium, stand, chemicals, and food. The e-mail gets sent to my phone so I will respond immediately to any emails. Thanks for reading.
