The Silver Arowana comes from the Amazon River in South America. He is very beautiful and a fascinating fish to watch. Their adult size is 35 - 40 inches (89 - 102 cm).He has been housed alone. I've had him over 2 years and he's a great fish and seems very healthy.

A great fish, and seems very healthy....and underfed.
 
that actually doesnt seem like a bad price compared to whats around here.

last LFS i saw with an aro had severe back injury (ill get pics next time im down there) and a busted up chin for $250 i think.

it was about the same length. poor guy was in what was probablly a 30g long. 40 at the most.

I think its a 30x18x25 and comes out to roughly 58 gallons. I actually just bought one as a saltwater setup last night, and it's identical to it. (not from CL lol, got the tank, the 250w ballast, 3 new bulbs, the canopy with the lighting system and two fans installed, and a wave maker for $150 from a fellow reef keeper.) :drool:
 
Yeah, I was more pointing out the fish. That aro looks like a runt for bing 2 years old.
