Complete 29 Gallon Aquarium Setup - $275 (Middleton)

Reply to: sale-8vj5t-1812668200@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I am selling my 29 gallon aquarium with stand, under gravel filtration system, power filter, heater, decorations, lid with light, replacement filters, replacement air diffusers(for under gravel filter), food, temperature sticker, extra gravel, air pump and whatever else I have for the setup. Everything is in working condition and there are no leaks from the aquarium. My last fish has passed away and I am about to drain the water, so now is the time to buy this setup before the bacteria dies off so you won't have to wait several weeks like you would a new aquarium before you purchase fish. You will need a truck or SUV to pick this up(no delivery) as my car is not large enough to transport everything assembled and I will not take the aquarium stand apart. All this tank will need is a quick minor cleaning, fill it up, treat the water to remove chlorine, and wait a day to bring the water up to temp then it is ready for fish! I am going to college this fall and do not have the time to maintain the aquarium or buy new fish. I won't go much lower with the price as you would definitely spend more if you bought everything new. I want to get this out of my apt asap, so email me if interested. No scams and I will NOT ship this anywhere-you pick up.

This one is sad :(

I just talked to a guy that placed an ad on CL telling me he wanted $15 bucks for a Green Spotted "Leopard" Puffer that is 2" long and then proceeds to arugue that it is not a brackish fish. WTH?

I'm really tempted to respond to that person's listing and politely tell them they're not going to get that price, and BTW what were they thinking, keeping three Oscars in that tiny tank for three years...

.... but I don't want to get nasty hate mail either.

just set up another email account.

wooow 3 oscars in what looks like a 40 TALL not a 55 by any means... and to think 2 oscars max out a 125... im scared to wanna even now the ammonia level of that tank..... heck id resque the oscars and smash there tank! and let alone 3 oscars worth 100 each to make 300 for the pair and oddball oscar. my lfs was selling a full grown oscar today for 40 buxs and thats even to high for them...gah that just irritates me!
