It's a steal of a deal...just don't have time for another tank right now.

Actually...don't wait for me, but I'll ask around the office. There's a guy that wants a larger tank, but not sure how serious he is.

this isn't craigslist.. but i thought you would all get a kick out of the tank size recommendations..

Several months ago, our Jewel Cichlids had babies, and they are now big enough for others to enjoy. These are beautiful fish, especially when kept with companions (their color is better when they have a friend, with a lot of red to their skin and sparkling blue scales). They are tropicals but don't require very high temperatures, so a warm home is enough to keep them healthy. They get to be about 2 1/2 inches long when they're adults. As they've been raised together, they will continue to get along well in a new home. They need a tank with a filter and a cover (with a light or strong indirect light from a window), and like rock caves, but don't hide much. They eat cichlid sticks and frozen brine shrimp.

A pair or a few would make a really nice holiday gift to someone who likes fish or a kid who wants an easy, pretty starter pet. My 10-year-old daughter has been caring for ours! A smallish tank (like the 2 1/2 gallon tank setups that have been available for $20 at a lot of big stores) would be fine for them until they get big, and even at full size, a pair would be fine in a 5-gallon tank with a plecostomus or other algae eater so you don't have to clean the tank glass. It will probably be a year before they reach full size, judging by their present rate of growth.

We have a net to catch them, so all you'd need to bring to get yours would be a jar or tupperware container with a top. Let me know :) and Happy Holidays to all!

3 LARGE goldfish and a LARGE Plecostomus (South Hill)

I need to rehome my 3 large goldfish :( as you can see the tank is green and I just don't have the time to keep it up like I should.

This is a 39 gallon tank. These are BIG goldfish. They need to be in a tank at least this big or in an outside pond.

The biggest goldfish is about 8 inches from nose to tail and the smallest one is 6 inches.

I am asking a fee of $10 because I DO NOT want my fish to be food for other fish! I also have a 10 inch long plecostomus. $10 for the Pleco.
