CRAZY deformed discus at my LFS!!!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I really dont like that at all:eek:

dog breeders cull deformed puppies, in the wild the deformed get eaten first because they can't get away or they stand out in a crowd (like albinism).

i believe that if they are viable and can live without special handling there is no reason not to let them live in aquaria where there are no predators, or the predators that they share their tank with is very well fed. But i also don't think that folks should profit from such things, if they sell them at all they should be the same price as the other fish or even discounted..

I've seen things like this before but they never left the hatchery and that's how it should be. Don't promote it :banhim: :banhim: :banhim:

Depends on the deformity.

The discus in the picture looks like it's otherwise normal. I can't see a reason why it couldn't breed.
