JESUS! That guy is insane. You should get one of those metal chain gloves they use for sharks to clean that tank.
I'm going through the same thing with my male. He grabbed my finger the other day and made it bleed!

My cons act like that.
The male hits the glass and follows my every move when I am near.
My large Red devil won't let me put my hands in it's tank at all !!!!!!!
My husband uses wood rod (we keep now for this) and he chases the RD back into it's cave while I REPLANT my plants.(daily)
The RD hits/bites the rod whole time.
Gets old being bitten,hurts too.
My kids love this.......they laugh the whole time.(livingroom tank)
