Crazy Filtration

i just like eheims, they're looks and everything about them.
are there any other larger filters? wet/dry seems really confusing to me and i don't feel like learning.lol
i'm having another 15 of the eheim professional electronic version shipped to me in about a month, for my other tanks.

not really, the bills aren't too high since filters don't take up too much power. it's the heater that takes up the most. but then, the heater barely turns on once it is heated to tropical temp.

very true... a 12' tank must maintain pretty stable temp haha... alot of water means alot of stabilization

yup, i once tested to see how long the tank temp would last in a power outage.
i turned off the heaters(not the filters though) and it took close to 24hours to go from 79F to low 78F.

The 2260 and 2262 both hold ~6 more liters of media.

wow i thought i was nuts putting 2 eheim 2217's on my 125 gal tank. but i also have an emperor 400 on my 30 gal also.

i'm running 20 eheim filters on our 12' tank.

the filtration isn't too crazy compared to the other stuff here, but having 20 eheims is crazy.lol

oh and maybe a XP3 on a 40gallon turtle tank. with a aquaclear 30.
but then again it's not too crazy since turtles are major waste producers(along with the feeders in there)

in my opinion you can never get "nuts" with an eheim
