Crazy for Polypterus...

I really want to set-up a polypterus tank/oddball tank.
Would this work in a 4'x12''x24''
4xRopes
1xalbino sen.
1xlongfin sen.

What else could I add for top/mid level movement, doesnt HAVE to be an oddball but I'd like for it to be.

Suggestions? I just really want some polys! BTW, tank will be barebottom for ease of cleaning.
 
I would go with a tank 18" deep

It's a 55 gallon tank. 12'' wide. Would not work out for dats. Unless I just grew some out then sold them...

I just really want to get some polys, and this is what I have to work with. Been trying to get a 120 or larger and I'm getting tired of dealing with flaky people who stop replying to emails. Tank buying is so hard! :nilly:

Yeah, I have another 55gallon that is either getting a JD and GT or a pair of Amphilophus Lyonsi. Most likely will be doing the Lyonsi pair.

But I've got this one open and would really like to do some polypterus.

So, is my suggested stocking theme completely out of the question?

these fish absolutely appaul me....the epitome of retardation imo. They do nothing but float around on top and eat when you put food in. They are just so boring!
