only post that makes sense. but it's probably too late for that. that longnose should have been euthanised the day the incident occured. how this kind of ignorance of what to do in the event of an injury as the pic shows can be in any way considered awesome as other posts have suggested, i don't know. it's like having a one eyed freak baby in your basement. best kept a secret or euthanised...
 
just noticed, fish looks tiny for a 2yr old longnose gar...how long is it? try an estimate since you can't measure it in front of the glass...

put it down. sorry, just what i would have done. no need to let an animal suffer with what is obviously a broken spin.

Glad you agree with me BUT I dont think its to late, you can still end its suffering...

i dont think its suffering anymore so much as just being severly stunted in all aspects of its life..anyone know if the fish will still be in pain after the bones "mend"?
