Jason said:Has he destroyed any filters yet? Mines literally shoved out lift tube and chewed intake strainers to bits. My late lungfish shattered his heater (hence the late part he didnt do too well after that). My large one now has a shatterproof heater and he's filtered by water changes. So there's nothing to throw out eat, or destroy. He does shove his drift wood around looking for food regularly. Very nice age on him mines around 8 from what i gathered from the previous owner and the LFS i got him from.

PS mine hate neighbors as well so only small fast moving (bait) fish are put in with him
