Credit where its due

Here's a story for ya. Last year I decided to give away my male jag to a woman that kept female jags. She lived in a city 2 hours from my place. Thought I was doing him a favor as she told me she was experienced and had several tanks and wanted to breed him. I even delivered the fish to her and gave her some supplies. Ended up she was not that experienced and had no spare tanks. Weeks later I saw a ranting ad on a swap and sell site that she could not handle him anymore due to his aggression and how she was selling him asap to anyone that would take him or she was going to sell him off at the local corporate store. I tried to get in touch with her but she was probably too ashamed to respond. I got back on the road and drove back to the city that weekend. Checked out every pet shop in town. Found him at the last stop in a 25 gallon tank looking pretty bad. Pet store employees said he was not happy in that tank and would not eat. They tried everything. They also bad mouthed the woman that dropped him off saying how she is always taking advantage of them, and they will no longer be taking in unwanted fish because of her. Anyhow, I bought him back for a discounted price ($40) since i told them the story. I took him home and babied him. He wasn't the same for weeks. I thought I was gonna lose him. It's been almost a year now and hes doing great. I bought a new 120 gallon tank this weekend that I plan to upgrade him to. Got a good deal on it too. That's the story of when I bought my own fish back.

^ thats dedication if i ever saw it... Good on you for saving the guy...

RD. RD. has always gone the extra mile, it doesn't take much reading to find out he puts a lot of effort into helping members here.

koltsixx koltsixx has answered more of my questions than I care to mention. He also helped fuel my creativity and interest in the hobby for a couple years now. I guess you could say that I blame him for how deep down the rabbit hole I've ended up.

Thanks bro, much appreciated. In the mean time you've become a very capable fish keeper and a better contributor then I. As for being responsible for giving you the very little nudge you needed to fall down that rabbit hole; you're welcome.

As for myself the list of deserves credit for inspiration and knowledge goes on for days. Far too many to list but just to name a few in no particular order Neoprodigy, Oddball, R1_Ridah, Chaitika, jlnguyen74, Xander, Pharaoh, Aquanero, RD., JK47, Aquamojo, Greenterra, Red Devil, West 1, Chicxulub, Benzjamin13, Kendragon, Gr8KarmaSF, Fugupuff, Bigguapote, Rkc772 and the list goes on.

Whoa? Speechless. A Hollywood story only MFK-ers and Co would appreciate.

Not gonna name names because I cannot remember all, just wanted to give a shoutout to all the senior members and staff for sure.
