Creek Chubs

I caught a 4" in my minnow trap, kept it for 4 days but it died. I believe they only thrive in cold water.
 
Thanks for the info, maybe I didn't properly acclimate mine.
 
ive caught about 2 dozen my last two fishing trips and i brought 6 large ones home to live with my smb. so far they all made the transition to the tank well, still very shy and skitish. they go crazy flying through the tank into walls everytime i walk in the room. hopefully i can get them eating tomorrow. ill take a pic since i have 4 of one species and 2 of another. maybe some kind of shinner? not sure which is which. the larger ones are very nice looking with red fins and real silver body with a tent of purples and greens. not bad for a collecting trip in Jan
