Nice pictures! Are there any fish in that creek?

further down the creek around a bridge and an inlet of a smaller creek there is a deep hole with many natural rainbow trout, chubs, suckers, and sunnies. anything from .5" to 20" i've gotten out of that area, haven't had luck anywhere else really. :)

Thank's Liz.:)

anybody catch the bites on the mushroom by chance?

i've seen a couple of Wild Eastern Box turtles in the area, so i was very happy to see those bites (they are becomeing Very Rare do to loss of natural habitat and other interferance by the human species, sad really.

and the frog is an american Toad btw. (couldn't catch an shots of green or bullfrogs (super fast and hard to see (i heard them all around though):)

Yep we got poison ivy here. i did get some scrapes from walking through different pointy plants to get to good spots but i'm very happy that was the least of it.

I was considering going back today. i found a bammboo cave with the tallest bammboo i have ever seen. so that'll make for good shots.

the most common species of frogs i've seen in this area are

Green frogs, Bull frogs, Wood Frogs, and the occasinal Leopard or Pickeral.

i've also seen a snapping turtle makeing a journey in the creek, as well as many Snake's (most northern water and garter). A guy i know who lives near the creek ussally will find a 5' northern sitting on his porch basking in the morning.

if you go back today i will be watching for the pics..you really know your stuff... if you see that snapper i would love to see pics of him too... i wish i could do the woods like i use to ..but soon to have knee operation so injury prevents hiking... have fun!
