Here's one that happened to me.

One night as I was laying on my side in bed, trying to fall asleep, I felt something touch my knee and run up my my thigh, over my hip, over my side and up my shoulder. Thinking my mom had let one of my guy friends or my ex into the house, I rolled over and saw no one.

About two weeks later, I was trying to fall asleep again when I felt I should roll over and open my eyes. It was just some weird urge. I did, and I saw the black silhouette of a man standing in my closet. It looked like it had mass and was solid, only problem is that the man's legs should have been inside my dresser and his head would have been through a shelf. My sister apparently saw the same thing once.

Recently, I got brave and made a ouija board and my mom and I asked if there was anyone who was here all the time. We got an answer from something (ghost, or maybe just us?) that claimed it was a WWII pilot that had fought "tojos." Kind of offensive since we have Japanese family and ancestry, but we didn't say anything about it. Anyway, we asked if it had a message for us and it said no, we tried to tell it goodbye, but it spelled out "I abide." I asked if I had seen it in the closet and it said "Yes.":nilly: Then we told it goodbye.

i want to make on of those. but i hear nothing good ever comes of them.

They can be fun. I have all kinds of ouija board stories.

Once I pissed our "ghost" off and it called me a name. It said it's name was... I forget, but it was an English name. It claimed to be from China, so I asked why it had an English name. He said his mom was American. I asked what her job had been and he said "hammeremab." We didn't understand, so we asked him to clarify. It said "yardwork." I told him I highly doubted any American woman would go to China just to do yard work. So it spelled out "U are a b***h."

Another time, it was just a group of us girls, and we got a spirit named Adam that was flirtatious and funny. A real kidder. Some of my friends left halfway through, leaving 2 of us alone with Adam. We couldn't think of questions, so he was slowly going from a to m while waiting. We asked if he played music and he said the drums, and I said I played guitar. He said Harvey played guitar. We couldn't think of anything else to ask. Eventually it spelled "save me." We were like "From what?" He said "Harvey." We told him he thought Harvey was his friend, to which Adam replied "No, ax." He kept going from a to x progressively faster until it scared us. We told him to stop being creepy and he apologized. Then we said goodbye. Later that night, more friends came over and we were on our way to pick up booze when I realized "ax" is another word for guitar. Adam totally got us.

The best experience I had was with something claiming to be a seven year old girl. She was sweet and made small talk, saying my drawings on the board were cute, we were fun to play with, etc. It really seemed like a kid, and it was nothing but nice.

I don't believe that a Ouija Board can really hurt anyone. I ordered one off Amazon just because I got tied of the shot glass over poster board approach.

can you point me in the right direction so i can build one? i got a few hours to kill. :D plus ill see if MEPS is haunted haha.

Sure. All you have to do is grab something that has a smooth, flat, glossy surface. Write the letters of the alphabet on it and the numbers 0-9 on it. Include the words Yes, No and Goodbye. For ease of use, you can add the male and female symbols and "maybe" and "don't know." Everything should be about an inch tall and there should be enough space to move the planchette, which you can use an overturned shot glass or other small, light glass for.

Be advised: Don't use it alone. They always say not to.
Working with someone you can trust not push the planchette, put the first two fingers of both hands down lightly and ask "Is there anyone there who would like to talk to us?" It could take a while, but it WILL move. It's creepy.

some ground rules, though:
1. Don't ask it how you'll die
2. At the end of using it, everyone has to say goodbye and make sure the ghost thing moves the pointer to goodbye! Otherwise... they're still with you:nilly:
3. I hear you shouldn't ask about God
4.never ask the spirit or whatevs to do something physical (make a sound, move something, etc)
5. Look up the rest of the superstitions and rules I'm too lazy to type out.

One time we had a ghost that wouldn't say goodbye, it just kept saying no. We did some kind of trick that's supposed to get rid of it where you turn the board over and tap the back with the bottom of the glass. But, for a while after that, the light next to us flickered. Ghost or just a bad bulb? oooooo:naughty::grinno:

dude. im stoked. im going to do it alone though. noones here right now.

what the worst that happens? it follows me? haha

sounds kinda fun lol
It is fun, and scary at the same time. I mean think about it. Even if it's not a ghost and it's just our subconscious controlling it, how cool is it that our minds are so powerful we don't even know they're doing stuff?

That's actually a good idea. I forgot to tell you, but sometimes it will spell really fast or mixed up, and you can only figure out what it says if you write it down as they're spelling. But I don't want to hear about them doing an exorcism on you because of me, mmkay?

wtf... an exorcism?

well, i made it. and its sexy. so i guess im going to try it.... do you have to have the lights dimmed and sutff?
